Who is responsible
Quantail Ltd is responsible for the personal information used to handle enquiries and manage its business relationships. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 16584144. Our registered office is C/O Easy Tax - Argentum, 510 Bristol Business Park, Coldharbour Lane, Bristol, United Kingdom, BS16 1EJ.

Information we use
When you send an enquiry, email us or book a call, we receive the contact details and business or project information you choose to provide. The enquiry form asks for your name and email address so that we can reply. Other fields are optional.
Our hosting provider, Netlify, processes technical request information, such as IP address, browser details and requested pages, to deliver and secure the website. The curtailment demo calculates results in your browser. Its slider inputs are not sent to Quantail.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and contact information to respond, arrange discussions and assess whether we can help. The basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with prospective clients and running a professional services business. Where you are personally entering a contract with us, we may also process information to take steps at your request before that contract.
We use information needed to perform an agreed engagement, maintain business records and meet legal obligations. Separate engagement arrangements govern confidential project materials. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Who receives it
Information is available to the people and service providers who need it to respond or deliver the agreed work. This includes providers of website hosting and enquiry handling, email, scheduling and business IT, and professional advisers where needed. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Netlify hosts this website and handles submitted enquiry forms. Calendly handles bookings when you follow a booking link. Those services process information under their applicable terms. External websites, including LinkedIn, also have their own privacy notices.
Storage and international processing
Netlify and Calendly process information in the United States and may use providers in other countries. Their published data-processing terms provide for US transfers under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, with Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum as fallback safeguards where applicable.
These arrangements are set out in Netlify’s Data Processing Agreement and Calendly’s Data Processing Addendum. Contact Henry for information or copies of the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information is kept for the period needed to respond and manage any resulting business relationship. The period depends on whether an enquiry remains active, whether it becomes an engagement and whether records are needed to meet legal obligations or address a dispute. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised.
Engagement and financial records may need to be retained longer than an initial enquiry. Contact Henry for the retention arrangements relevant to your information.
Cookies and external services
This website does not include advertising pixels, optional analytics scripts or embedded social media and booking widgets. Fonts are hosted with the website. The demo does not store its inputs in cookies or browser storage.
Following a Calendly or LinkedIn link takes you to that service, where its cookie controls and privacy terms apply. Technical delivery and security processing by the hosting provider is described separately above.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw that consent. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
Contact henry@quantail.co.uk to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. We would welcome the opportunity to address a concern first.
The website and enquiry process do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Updates
This notice may change if the website or the way information is handled changes. The date at the top identifies the current version.
